The Preserved Stem came about a little unexpectedly to be honest. Florist Jenna had been working with fresh flowers for some time, and for fun played around with dried and preserved florals at home. And well… it became a thing.

Although I have been a fresh flower florist for a while, The Preserved Stem officially came about in October 2022. I decided to follow my dreams of running my own business specialising in dried & preserved flowers, which I have always loved working with the most. Also I have three gorgeous children, so the decision to be at home with them more while creating was easy.

On weekends you might find Jenna (and her dried flower arrangements) at markets around Adelaide and the Adelaide Hills. During the week she works on your custom orders while playing mum to her 6 year old son and 3 year old twin girls… so yes… you could say creating beautiful dried and preserved floral arrangements are also her therapy.

For her market arrangements, Jenna creates what comes naturally at the time, but also loves creating custom orders for your home, work space, wedding and special events. The range includes (but is not limited to) pots, vases, planters, wall art, wreaths, hair pieces, flower crowns, bouquets and more.
